“Chief Security Officer”, my 24th book, has just been published. Contrary to my other publications, this one is a cartoon book. It tells funny, yet true stories about IT security.

Readers of this blog might remember that last year I published a number of comic strips about a heroic chief security officer and his unsuccessful attempts to fight hackers, viruses, his boss and other powerful enemies.

These posts became pretty popular among my users. Some even asked whether they could use some of the Chief Security Officer strips for user trainings or other purposes (of course, I agreed). After having published 25 episodes, I finally decided to publish a Chief Security Officer cartoon book. Now it is finished. It’s my 24th book.

So far, only a German version is available. If it turns out to be successful, I will translate it to English.

Chief Security Officer is not only my first cartoon book, but also the first of my book that is self-published. I created it via the book-on-demand program of Amazon without a publishing company being involved. This means, on the one hand, that I was completely free to include whatever I wanted. On the other hand, I need to do all the marketing myself.

Chief Security Officer is available at Amazon. CLICK HERE TO ORDER IT. A few pages are available for preview.

The price (in Germany) is 12.73 Euros. The book has 72 pages.

So, if you are looking for a nice present, if you want to know the truth about IT security, or if you simply enjoy funny cartoons, consider Chief Security Officer. Of course, I would be very pleased about a few nice Amazon reviews.
