New “Kriminal Digital” video: Two times life + 40 years
Another video has appeared on my new Youtube channel. It’s about Ross Ulbricht, who has been in prison for over nine years for running the darknet website Silk Road.
With “Kriminal Digital” I started a new YouTube channel a few weeks ago. The name says it all: I present true crimes that took place online or in which digital forensics played a role. It’s also, but not only, about encryption.
Today I published the third episode. It is about Ross Ulbricht, the former operator of the darknet website “Silk Road”.
Ulbricht has been in a U.S. prison for more than nine years and, according to the justice system, will never leave alive.
Here is the new episode:
Another note for the English-speaking readers or viewers: Cipherbrain reader Doc Cool has thankfully pointed out that YouTube offers automatically generated English subtitles:
By clicking on “cc” you can switch the subtitles on and off (depending on the browser, another symbol with the same meaning may be displayed at this point). By clicking on the gear wheel (third symbol from the left) you can set the language of the subtitles.
Have fun!
