After 20 years in the IT security business, I have now created a comic strip based on my experiences. I guarantee that all the stories told in it are true.
The life of a Chief Security Officer (CSO) is hard: many problems, low budget, little support from users and management. At least, working as a CSO is never boring – after all, there are new disasters every day.
In the last 20 years I’ve got to know many Chief Security Officers. Based on this experience, I have now created a comic strip dedicated to all the men and women who work in this strange job. I hereby proudly present:
The first episode of Chief Security Officer has now been published in the newsletter 12/2016 of my employer cryptovision. In the following, I am going to present three more (#2 to #4) – exclusively for the readers of Klausis Krypto Kolumne. As a special service, each episode is available in English and German.
Episode 2
Episode 3
Episode 4
All episodes on one page
In addition, I have created two pages containing all Chief Security Officer episodes (one page in English, one in German). I will update these pages each time a new episode is published. I’m sure, there will be many, as in the last 20 years I have gathered more than enough stories from the life of a CSO that are worth telling.
