This year’s HistoCrypt conference will involve a unique line-up of world-renowned speakers and panelists – including Bill Clinton, Giovanni Infantino, and Bill Cosby.

HistoCrypt (June 23-26 in Mons, Belgium), Europe’s most important crypto history conference, is once again approaching. It is a great honor for me to have been chosen to take the office of the program chair of this event. It goes without saying that I’m doing my best to hire as many top-level speakers and panelists as possible. The outstanding reputation of HistoCrypt (and perhaps my outstanding reputation) have made this task a lot easier.

Here is an excerpt from the (priliminary) agenda of HistoCrypt 2019:

The UK paradox: We broke the Enigma, but we are failing to handle the Brexit
Theresa May, Prime Minister of the UK

Methods to create a mediocre Voynich manuscript facsimile
Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg, plagiarism and falsification expert

The Lewinsky failure: How a Whitehouse affair became public, although the US uses the best ciphers
Bill Clinton, former US president

Panelists: Boris Becker, Franz Beckenbauer, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Cristiano Ronaldo

Panel discussion: Is frequency analysis always reliable?
Panelists: Al Gore and Hillary Clinton (experts in losing elections though having the majority of votes)

Cristiano Ronaldo, soccer player

A practical view on hill climbing
Reinhold Messner, hill climbing expert

Paul McCartney, ex-Beatle

Why HistoCrypt 2025 should take place in the Sahara with 768 presentations

The final agenda of HistoCrypt 2019 will be available in May. I can’t guarantee that all these talks will be included, but I certainly can guarantee that there will be interesting talks given by great speakers.

Now that I know the impressive line-up of speakers, I especially hope my talk, “The Ovaltine Decoder Ring Cipher: Still Unbreakable After all these Years” is accepted.
